Most Iconic F1 Moments in History
The races, overtakes, and moments that transcended sport and became legend.
Senna's Donington Masterclass
1993 European Grand Prix
Ayrton Senna started 5th on the grid in a clearly inferior McLaren. By the end of the first lap in torrential rain, he was leading. It remains the greatest opening lap in F1 history.
The First Lap
Senna passed Schumacher, Wendlinger, Hill, and Prost - the reigning world champion - all before completing the first lap. He went on to lap everyone up to second place, winning by over a minute.
Hamilton's First Championship
2008 Brazilian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton needed to finish 5th or higher to win his first championship. With rain falling and tires degrading, he slipped to 6th on the final lap - seemingly losing the title to Felipe Massa.
The Final Corner
Massa crossed the line first, celebrating as champion. But Hamilton overtook Timo Glock in the final corner to finish 5th, snatching the championship by a single point. The most dramatic finish in F1 history.
Schumacher's 7th Title
2004 Belgian Grand Prix
Michael Schumacher won his 7th World Championship at Spa-Francorchamps, breaking Juan Manuel Fangio's 47-year-old record. A number many thought would never be matched.
Schumacher's 2004 season saw him win 13 of 18 races - a dominance that may never be repeated. He finished on the podium in every race that season.

- Ayrton Senna - Imola, 1994
- Roland Ratzenberger - Imola, 1994
